Effective Law Enforcement is not just about apprehending the perpetrator after he committed a crime. Effective Law Enforcement is to be proactive and prevent the crime from ever being committed.
I want a county with no gangs, no crime, safe schools and a county jail that has a vacancy sign out front. My office will arrest, detain and process for deportation all illegal immigrants that we encounter committing crimes. We will aggressively go after all gangs and gang members who have filtered into our county and our children’s schools. We will develop two regional task forces to deal with crime and criminal activities. They will be the “Regional Drug Task Force” and “Regional Gang Task Force”. We will put the spotlight back on the County Jail re-developing the national reputation it once had as the “toughest jail in America!”
